Van Helvoort Company

In the early 1990s, Gert and Henja van Helvoort started growing spray chrysanthemums all year round under the name VHC. First in Zaltbommel, later in Poederoijen. In 2008, VHC built the current, modern nursery on Molenkampsweg in Brakel. Through various takeovers, the family business has grown to 24.5 hectares of indoor floriculture, spread over five locations in Brakel, Nieuwaal, Poederoijen and Gameren.

We are passionate about our profession. A good product is the foundation of our business. Quality is therefore our key to success. The diversity of our varieties requires expertise, and we have it! We monitor the product closely, from cutting in the soil to cutting on the conveyor belt. Our consistent quality sets us apart. VHC offers a consistent product all year round that meets the requirements of our customers.

In 2024, VHC joined the Madiba collective, a move that VHC looks back on with pride. Madiba is a strong brand that has become a very recognisable name in the industry thanks to the efforts of the other Madiba growers. VHC is therefore honoured to join this group of specialists to position Madiba even more strongly in the market!
